| Maria Field self-taught Brisbane artist, chocoholic and mother of two (and wife of one) was born in Brisbane in 1963. Her love of art began at the age of 5 when she received a 36 colour paint box, which became her most treasured possession. Her love of animals naturally called her to draw her family pets. She now specializes in detailed pastel Pet Portraits receiving many commissions. | ||
| Shirley Roberts Shirley was born in Tamworth N.S.W. Moved to Sydney 1969, then attended oil painting classes at Meadow Bank College in the seventies. Shirley discovered watercolour and mixed media a few years later at Willandra West Ryde Sydney, where she attended watercolour classes with wonderful tutors. Shirley has been a member of Castle Hill Art Society for many years and has exhibited in Sydney and country areas. | Barry Green After retiring to the Sunshine Coast in 2000, Barry took up watercolour painting in March 2002, with the late Brian Allison. Having a background of building and Architectural Draughting provided a natural foundation for this pursuit, however, his passion to excel, is continuously tested by the intricacies of this difficult medium. Barry has won 14 First Prizes and many minor prizes in the last few year years,some of which can be seen on his website (see website link on Barry's Member Page). |

Nev. Logan Nev is an Australian Artist who was born in Brisbane, but grew up in Gatton in the Lockyer Valley, where he received an early training in Perspective Drawing during his High School years, and during the Electrical Engineering course which he completed at the U of QLD with first class honours in 1959. Nev took early retirement in 1987 and began to concentrate on his painting. He was converted to Watercolours after attending a course in England with Ron Ranson. Nev regularly exhibits,sells and receives prizes in Art Exhibitions in Eastern Australia, and is represented in three galleries in the USA, and two in Australia. |
