Now in Brisbane, he has been a watercolour student of Lois
Beumer, John
Mcveigh-Brown and Tom Offord, and has attended workshops by Joseph
Zbukvic and
Ev Hales. He exhibits regularly with the Watercolour Society of
Queensland,
where he has achieved several awards, and has been active with the
Clifton Hill
Art Group.
In 2006 he collaborated in a duo exhibition with well-known Sydney artist Sally Colman. Later in 2010 he will be represented at Nundah's Martin Galleries. Charles' paintings hang in private collections in Vienna, London, Naples, San Francisco, New York, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane.
